Jak ozdobić kaboszon pudrem do embossingu?

Witajcie. Dzisiaj z lekkim opóźnieniem prosty sposób na szklane kaboszony. Ozdobiłam je za pomocą pudru do embossingu. Z racji tego, że pudrów jest ogromna ilość na rynku... można z ich pomocą osiągnąć cuda... Jedyne, przed czym Was szczególnie przestrzegam, to temperatura nagrzanego szklanego kaboszona... Lepiej chwilę odczekać, zanim się go weźmie do łapki...

Hello Lindy’s fans. Today I have a very easy tutorial for you. I will show you how to make cabochon decor stones fast and easily using embossing powders from Lindy’s.

Pick a few of your favorite embossing powders.

Next, use a sticky embossing ink to cover the bottom of each stone.

Cover the ink in embossing powder – I used a few different colors.

You must hold the cabochon at an angle and then melt the powder using a heat tool.

Be careful since these are very hot after heating!

The colored glass cabochons are now ready to use.

You can see how beautiful these are!

Lindy's Stamp Gang color challenge

Zrobiłam rachunek sumienia i postanowiłam się nawrócić do papierów i kwiatów - przynajmniej raz na jakiś czas. Wygrzebuję z nowych opakowań różne materiały, bo przecież kiedyś wypadałoby je z grzeczności wykorzystać. Z drugiej zaś strony mąż będzie szczęśliwszy, jak pojawią się zdjęcia mojej dziatwy w domu. 

Dzisiaj projekt dla Lindy's Stamp Gang, którym zachęcam do wzięcia udziału w wyzwaniu majowym. Możecie wygrać wspaniały zestaw mediów... a wystarczy tylko wykonać pracę podyktowaną kolorami z plakatu :)

Pewnego dnia / my canvas with video tutorial

Hi All, today I have prepared a video tutorial for you on how to make industrial-like canvas. I decorated it with screws, wires and other metal elements. I created the background color with only Magical Shakers.  I also used a lot of embossing powders.

Witajcie. Dzisiaj wykonałam pracę wraz z tutorialem dla Lindy's Stamp Gang. Użyłam do wykonania tła metalowych śrubek, ćwieków, drutu oraz innych elementów. Całości nadałam kolor za pomocą Magical Shakers.

Use a hot glue gun to attach elements to your canvas and then apply a layer of gesso and add texture using stencils.

When dry – sprinkle Lindy’s Magicals over the background and spray with water to activate the dye color.

I used stamps designed by me which are perfect for this project.

Learn How to Mix Lindy’s Sprays with Acrylic Paints

Witajcie. Dzisiaj mam coś cąłkiem dla mnie nowego. Pomieszałam na papierze Canson Mix Media mgiełki Lindy's oraz farby akrylowe Renesans. Co jest dla mnie kompletną nowością, to tego typu journal. Nigdy wcześniej nie odważyłam się rzucać na taki styl ani kolory. Jednak nie tylko stylem vintage człowiek żyje :) Trzeba podejmować próby i wyzwania...

Hi All, today I’ve played with Lindy’s sprays and acrylic paints. Mixing mists or sprays with acrylic paint gives you amazing effects.

My art journal is very simple, totally different from others and this is the first time I have drawn a female face (which was a challenge for me since I don’t have talent for drawing), but I thought I would try this.

The colors I have used in this projects are completely new for me. Can you believe that it’s probably the first time I have ever used yellow in my art?  As you can imagine, it’s causing me double stress!

Mixing your Lindy’s sprays with acrylic paint opens up a whole new world of adding color to your projects, let me show you how in the video at the bottom of this post.

Basic Technique

You really only need one step for this fabulous idea!  Add a little Titanium White paint (any brand) to a palette or non-stick surface and spray some of your Lindy’s sprays onto the paint – mix well for a consistent color and start painting.  Yes it’s that simple and the colors will coordinate beautifully with your Lindy’s sprays.

You could also add Magicals powder to the acrylic paint if you like, which will make stronger colors.

I used beautiful Starbursts and Fabio sprays to add color to the page in two different ways:

I’ve mixed them with acrylic paint and painted them onto the face and

I’ve painted with the sprays by spritzing a little color onto my craft mat and using a paint brush to add it to my project.

Make Your Own Mixed Media Flowers with me

Witam Was dzisiaj krótkim tutkiem na proste kwiatki. Proszę, częstujcie się :) Będzie mi ogromnie miło, gdy wykonując takie kwiatki pochwalicie się nimi :) chętnie obejrzę co pięknego wykonaliście.
Jest to wersja dużo łatwiejsza, niż ta z malowanymi akwarelami :) więc zachęcam do ukwiecania swoich prac.

Hi Lindy’s fans . I want to welcome you with my media flower tutorial.

To start I cut the flowers out of watercolor paper using a punching die. Then I painted the flowers with Starburst Sprays using a paintbrush.

When the watercolor paper dried, I added black inked stamps for extra interest and pattern.



I chose big letter stamp to be able to use embossing ink in order to put some powder.




After heating up the powder I used drawing ink and a calligraphy nib to decorate the flowers.

You can always make it easier and leave off the drawing ink or heat embossed images.

THE MASK - march Color Challenge

Ruszyło nowe wyzwanie w Lindy's Stamp Gang. Cukierkowe kolory.... lubicie je? Jeśli tak, zachęcam do wykonania pięknej pracy i zgłoszenia się. Media Lindy's są wspaniałe-do wygrania duża paczka :) warto warto moi drodzy.

Jako inspirację wykonałam maskę. Lubię maski. Lubię z nimi robić coś odmiennego, przeistaczać je w takie odosobnione przypadki :).

tutorial: jak wykonać przecierki mgiełkami Lindy's Stamp Gang / mixed media box with mists

Pudełka to ja kocham robić. Uwielbiam przy nich kombinować. Wrzucam na szybko projekt dla Lindy's Stamp Gang. Prosty i wydaje mi się nawet ciekawy sposób na ozdobienie drewienka. Zapraszam na mój kanał YouTube, gdzie będziecie mogli podejrzeć sobie proces tworzenia tej pracy.

Today I have a little surprise for you. I will show you how to decorate a wooden box with Mists and Embossing powders from Lindy’s. It is a very simple and effective way to alter something and I hope you will like it.

 

Start by coating the box with gesso or chalky paint, once dry use a hot glue gun to attach some beautiful 3D objects or embellishments and then add more gesso.

Paint on a little of the Tibetan Poppy Teal Starburst around the embellishments and then spray Merci Beaucoup Mint over the flowers and blend the color with a brush.

You will be able to make nice scrape effects by using dish sponge to add the color to the rest of the box – then dry with a heat gun.  Mix a little Cotton Candy Pink magical powder and use a sponge to add this over the surface.  Keep layering the colors, drying between each layer, until you are happy with the effect.  I used Urban Amethyst as my final layer of color.

I love the embossing effect, when you add Guten Tag Teal embossing power over a sticky word!
